You must check things before you expand a Storage volume in Veritas volume Manager. When you work on Storage task you need to be very sure the steps which you follow they are correct and it will not impact your production server and its data which is located in Storage Disks.
In Veritas Volume Manager when you get new disk on the Server allocated by Storage Team you need to check they must be fresh and they are in RAW format.
