Open the Hyper-V Manager
Go to Action Tab and click New -> Virtual Machine
Virtual Machine Creation Wizard get Open
You need click Next
You need to specify the name of new Virtual Machine and also you can select the Radio button to store the virtual machine to a different path, as you can see the default path is Hidden Folder Called “ProgramData” Click Next to move forward…
Now you need to specify the RAM in MB which you want to allocate for this new virtual machine and as you can see there is another option to specify Use Dynamic Memory for this Virtual Machine. Which will give good advantage for hardware RAM allocation during actual requirement by the Virtual Machines when they are Online. Click Next
Now you need to select the Virtual Machine Network
In this Option we are going to create a new Harddisk for Virtual Machine and this time extension of this Virtual harddisk is VHDX and maximum virtual harddisk size can be 64 TB in Windows Server 2012.
Now you need to select the installation media – its can be physical disk which is attached to the Server or ISO File which you can map it or floppy drive. You can also opt for installing Operating System later on this virtual machine.
