As a Windows Server Administrator – You need to perform lots of task daily basis and I always think about making it easy or automated with the help of script. Which would be a better option to pull information from other system as well.
I thought about PowerShell commands – but that will be 2nd edition will share with you. This time we will concentrate with the servers Windows Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003 which are not much understanding in respect of PowerShell.
First You need to Download tools which is pstools Download PSinfo
Once you download this above package – then extract the files to a folder and look for one exe called “PSinfo.exe”
Copy “PSinfo.exe” file to a specific folder and now create a batch script to run this tool to get information from multiple machines about the software / applications installed in your system.
You can run a command “PSinfo.exe –s” and it will throw the output into the screen.
Run This Above Command with batch script for multiple servers
Create a txt file with name computerlist.txt and put all server/ computer name in that files
Then create a batch file and copy paste this below command
